هذا وذلك

We use this for something near us and that for something far from us.

this و that أسماء إشارة للمفرد. نستخدم this (هذا/هذه) للشيء القريب منا، و that (ذلك/تلك) للشيء البعيد عنا.

this للشيء القريب.

This is my bag.

هذه حقيبتي.

that للشيء البعيد.

That is a bird.

ذلك طائر.

This + is + noun (near)

This + is + اسم (قريب)

That + is + noun (far)

That + is + اسم (بعيد)

1. The pen is in my hand. ___ is my pen.

2. The moon is in the sky. ___ is the moon.
