WHAT? · What is the grammar point?
ما هي القاعدة؟When, before and after connect two actions in time. 'Although' shows a surprising contrast (like 'but', inside one sentence). If the connector starts the sentence, put a comma after the first part.
RULE
القاعدة- When I arrived, they were eating.
- They were eating when I arrived.
- Before + action 1, action 2 · After + action 1, action 2
- Although + contrast, main idea (no 'but')
