Pottery has been made in Bahla for centuries. First, red clay is collected from the wadi and mixed with water. Then, the clay is shaped on a wheel by the potter's skilled hands. After that, the pots are left to dry in the sun for several days. Finally, they are fired in a hot kiln until they become hard. In my view, crafts like these must be taught to young people, because they carry the knowledge of generations.
