In opinion writing, you tell the reader what you think and WHY. A strong opinion is supported by reasons, and each reason is supported by an example. The conclusion repeats your opinion.

In my opinion, reading is one of the most important habits a student can have. One reason is that reading helps us learn new words. For example, when I read a story about the sea, I learned words like 'coral' and 'current', and now I use them in my writing. Another reason is that reading takes us to places we have never visited. Through books, I have travelled to the ice of Antarctica and the forests of Brazil without leaving my room in Sohar. In conclusion, I believe every student should read for at least twenty minutes a day.
