ما هي القاعدة؟

Use this/these for things near you and that/those for things far away. This/that are singular; these/those are plural. Use 'There is' for one thing and 'There are' for more than one to say that something exists.

this (هذا/هذه) للمفرد القريب، و that (ذلك/تلك) للمفرد البعيد، و these (هؤلاء/هذه) للجمع القريب، و those (أولئك/تلك) للجمع البعيد. أما There is فتعني «يوجد» مع المفرد، وThere are «يوجد» مع الجمع.
